Wild World of Wiki!!

I think this was very thorough and insightful article on the disregarded relevance of women in hip hop. I appreciate the abundance of sources because it adds to the legitimacy of this article. The photos work well with the content of the article. However the only thing to mention is the absence of headers, which would have made this an amazing article. Nonetheless this article is a well-written, worthwhile read.

Let me first say that this would have served me well if I had this my freshman year. This blog offers a logical, simple plan to survive the rigors of the dreaded “first-year”. This post is very easy to understand for anyone who needs guidance in making the transition from high school to college. Perhaps you should look to distribute these to high school senior. This could do nothing but benefit them. But then again, they tend to think they know what to expect, so what good would that do, huh? Great job my friend.

This wikipage is very eye-pleasing. This page is organized in a professional, informative and convincing manner that urges the reader a take the trip to Lockport. I must admit that I read this post, while hungry so I was impressed, but at the same very teased. Overall this page was great.

This page is very well-organized and understandable, and allows almost anyone to give it a try. I appreciated the fact that the steps were written in plain English, rather than elevated jargon. Overall this was a good post. It seems as if you have a thorough comprehension of this subject. Great job!

Lynda Kwiatkowski: Century Grill
This post may have opened my eyes to something new. Before I read this I had never heard of the Century Grill, and from the looks of it, I’ve certainly been missing out. I like how you gave a rundown of everything you can expect to enjoy while at Century, like the non-food features. It’s safe to say that I will longer cheat myself; instead I’ll treat myself to a night out at Century. Thanks!

Videos!!

Lupe Fiasco "The Show Goes On"

I must say the lighting in this video is amazing, one minute its light, the next its dark. I think the shadow effect in the middle of the video was great as well. The quick camera transitions make it feel as if you’re standing in front of Lupe recording him. This video was very well-shot.

Will Farrell "Good Cop, Baby Cop"

I chose this video because it was very entertaining and creative, in the way in which the camera went from one person to another. The part where the “lieutenant” hit Will Farrell in the face with the phone would not have been as funny if not for the reverse effect. The occasional sound effects added to the entertaining nature of the video, but were somewhat unnecessary. Overall this was a well-shot video.

Kanye West "Monster"

I chose this video because I thought it was very effective in depicting dreariness throughout. The quick camera cuts kept me on the edge of my seat. The lighting was pretty dark for obvious reasons. Overall I think this was a very uniquely-crafted video.

Jay-Z "Empire State of Mind"

I chose this video because even though I’m not from NYC, every time I hear this song, I get chills. In my opinion this is one of the best shot music videos I’ve seen in a minute. The shuffling of scenes, the jumping from one place to another, the black & white lighting then the vivid color, makes this video unbelievably authentic. Overall this video was beyond great.

Will Farrell "Pearl The Landlord"

I chose this video because it was too creatively shot. The way the camera jumps from Farrell to Pearl, gives the video a “duel”-type feel, which made it funny. When the camera stays on Pearl its clear to see that she is being told what to say by her mother, but nonetheless she performs admirably. Overall this video was solid.
